“Every and anything that could have happened to make travel give you a migraine happened. Starting with arriving to the airport and my flight not existing.”

Here we Go

This trip was 1 day after I had just spoken at my stepdads funeral. Unfortunately, he passed away from Covid at only mid forties. Yeah, it was a very weird mental state to be in right before starting a very happy trip. But, it made the experience that much more sentimental for me. Not to mention my whole travel experience was TUMULTUOUS. Every and anything that could have happened to make travel give you a migraine happened. Starting with arriving to the airport and my flight not existing. I'm talking I went to the desk and it said closed? so I knocked on the desk door like the janitor told me to find out my flight had switched airlines. To back track, I had a full suitcase, GOLF CLUBS (add another 40lbs with the case), carry on, and purse, (with no one helping me). I also parked at about 4am at IAD, and the bus went right past me twice... in 30 degree weather. When I finally got to the line, there were like 5 people and the desk woman went extremely slow.. so by the time I walked up she said "you were supposed to be here at 4 am". I WAS.

Fast track-we made it. We started at Casa de Campo! My bestie Sydney and I were in love right when we arrived. What's interesting is that the trip was only the 2nd time meeting Sydney, so we actually became super close being roomies on the trip together!

Casa de Campo us huge. Basically a small city. So we all enjoyed the amenities the community came with as well like the pool clubs and beachfront restaurants. Oh yeah this is where I made it to Influencers in the Wild.

Then, we made our way to THE villa. You mean a second one?! Yes. The first one tbh was nice but the staff didn't really do much, the hot tub didn't work, and we were only really served a sub par breakfast at best. I was grateful and wan't pressed about leaving after 2 days.. until... we arrived to the villa on Corales that just blew us away. Absolutely spectacular. Everything from the villa to the staff, the view.. it just felt like we moved into a castle.

This is Zachary who was in charge hahaha

All of the fun excursions, dinners, going out into town, and moments spent together are what made this the trip of a lifetime.
